John plays a key role in our long term growth strategy which centers on remaining independent.  John will help us do that by focusing his attention on managing the business operations of Cambridge as well as compliance.  John was drawn to Cambridge because of his relationship with Lori and Justin and his interest in the financial industry and personal finance.  He is excited to take on the back office duties which allows our advisors to spend more time serving their clients.

John grew up in Elkhorn, Nebraska and attended Midland University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting.  John started his career in public accounting and has worked as a senior accountant in the construction and energy industries.  All together he has about twenty years' experience in various accounting roles.

John and his wife, Kristin, their teenage son and daughter as well as their border collie, Buddy, live in Bennington, Nebraska.  John spent several years as a TeamMates mentor and in leadership of the Omaha Bible Study Fellowship class.  You may find them in the stands cheering for all the Bennington sports but especially football and track & field.  John is also the business manager for his church as well as an active volunteer.
